Ruth Warwick

Artist profile
Ruth Warwick is a contemporary figurative artist based in the UK, whose pieces explore the relationship between a woman and her body. Her artistic practice began from a need to reclaim her own body and identify after trauma, and evolved to empower women to take back their power and express themselves with confidence. Her pieces explore themes of consent, healing and feminine power, questioning expectations placed upon women and the ways they were taught to see themselves. Ruth has built a community of female artists, with her hope being that art will bring women together and allow every woman’s voice to be heard.
